Now on to The Travel Academy Rentals, they claim are not affiliated with each other. Their Master Lease Agreement, #22 Refunds. Be aware of how this is written. It indicates that you are entitled to a full refund prior to two weeks of your arrival, but if you withdraw within two weeks of arrival, you forfeit your entire housing fees. I lost $1,650 for housing, plus $250 security deposit, totaling $1,900. In addition, be aware of the condition these housing apartments are in upon arrival. The apartment I was placed in was filthy. Nothing like their website claimed, "Beautiful and Comfortable Crew Quarters". This is no exaggeration, there was old urine on the toilet bowl and floor, black mold behind and under the toilet, mold on the ceiling over the bed. This apartment had not been dusted, vaccumed, kitchen stove, sink, counters tops cleaned, nor the dishes in the cabinets had to be run through the dishwasher upon my arrival. Furthermore, the bed comforter and pillow/case they provide, I wouldn't let my dog sleep on. The Travel Academy is designed for kids right out of high school. Kids that have never been on their own, never written a resume or taken a job interview. I urge you to be very aware of The Travel Academy and their agreements. If you enroll with them, and you decide to withdraw because it's not what you believed it to be, you can count on they've banked on either your tuition or your rental fees!

I will be attending the travel academy in January and so far my experience with them had been great. Whenever I have a question about something, I know I can call them and they will answer my questions to the best of their ability and if they don’t have an answer right away, they always get back to me in a timely manner. If I’m being treated this well by them and I’m not even there yet, I know I will have a great experience once my class starts. It’s all about having a good attitude and an open mind and a willingness to learn new things.

The Travel Academy is a wondering place to get loads of information and pretraining if you are planning on being a Flight Attendant, Cruise line, Travel agent or dealing with most hospitality/customer service fields. They just changed over to a no nonsense owner who is hungry to make sure his students graduate with jobs. I graduated today and the entire class had a 90% job placement rating which was higher than any other class.

I left the TTA after only three days of class. I wrote a letter notifying my withdrawal and was due to receive a full refund of my tuition, fees and other charges. Read their enrollment agreement carefully, Buyer's Right to Cancel. They kept their books, kept my $300 for their book fees, not to mention, they charged me $100 for early withdrawal administrative fees.

Former student of Summer Class of 2017

Hello. Is the school also meant for international students?? And if yes how can i apply?

I attended "The Travel Academy's" Fall class of 2017. It was the best decision I have ever made! Thank you Ms. Deanna, Ms. Sheila, Ms. Julie, and Ms. Suzanne for attending to every student and not leaving anyone behind. Along with all the preparation from the instructors, I was offered and have accepted a position with Mesa Airlines as a flight attendant! To all of those who are questioning TTA, don't hesitate, just do it! I have met so many wonderful people and the school has really changed me for the better. The relationships I've built will forever hold a place in my heart and seeing everyone else get offers shows just how dedicated the school is to ensuring you leave here with a career. But please, to all the future students, please do your part and STUDY! Keep your grades up and stay FOCUSED! The school is there to help you, but you have to do your part because nothing in life is handed towards you without you having to work for it. Also Understand that 10 weeks is a very little amount of time and before you know it you'll be graduating. Thank you again TTA! And expect me to attend this course ALL OVER again in the next 5 years because that's how much I loved it!

The Travel Academy (TTA) is nothing more than a scam. Please be aware and read the following. Their enrollment agreement and rental agreement are one in the same, even though they say they're different entities. If you are planning to attend this school to become a Flight Attendant, beware. Their certificate you'll receive doesn't specifically indicate Flight Attendant on it. It is generic because it covers all three, Travel Agent and Cruise Ship.

It WILL be worth it. The teachers will do everything they can to help you succeed as long as you are willing to put the work in. Mrs Cynthia went above and beyond what a teacher was supposed to, and I really hope she gets the recognition she deserves for it. She stayed well after closing several times to help make sure the students had their resumes and cover letters ready for a interview session that came early, She cleaned the building, Got answers needed, helped everyone who asked with their applications no matter the time. She made time for the students out of her time. She helped me believe in myself and I achieved because she gave me the encouragement to go out and seek when it seemed dark. Thank you Ms Cynthia.
